Bingo, what is it?

The object of the game is to fill your card faster and before your fellow competitors. While you are at it, you can often win few pounds or in special occasions large jackpots that are worth thousands of pounds or dollars.

Once there, you purchase a bingo card, its appearance is that of a checkerboard with numbers listed inside each square. There is a person that will call out the numbers as they pull them and all you do is cross off the corresponding square with an ink dauber or pen, sometimes you are given chips on your bingo card to mark the ones called. Now the object of the bingo game comes into play. The person to check their numbers in the correct line first, calls out Bingo and once verified they win a prize. Now the purchased new cards at the onslaught of each game and vary in cost depending on the Bingo hall. They can come in single cards or some purchase them in packs to play multi cards at once.

There are two styles of bingo played 90 ball bingo, which is the style in the UK, or 75 ball bingo that is the popular style in the US. 90 ball bingo card's or ticket is as its called has three rows and nine columns, showing twenty-seven squares. 75 ball bingo offers more variety than the UK bingo standard with its five by five squares to make it twenty-five squares. In each row on the card, every spot contain random numbers.
