£81,000 Bingo Win For Rochdale Woman

After having won nearly £81,000 playing bingo at the Buckingham Club in Middleton Arndale Centre, the fifty-three year old winner is sticking to her guns and sharing her huge prize money with a seventy-four year old aunt who she plays with.

Good fortune struck when she won £77,720 on the national Bingo Game, £3,000 on the Regional prize and £180 house prize after getting a full house on forty-six calls. Which relatively speaking is quite a high number of calls, so her luck must have really been good that evening, and her win was surely meant to be! The woman is married and has two children as well as five grandchildren. She has been playing bingo ever since she was of legal age to do so and has been a member of the Buckingham Club since it opened, playing regularly with her aunt, usually about once a week.

She says she was in complete shock when she found out that she had won so much money and is looking forward to paying off her mortgage, sensible move, there is nothing better than not having to make mortgage repayments, and taking a holiday somewhere abroad with her husband.
