£20,000 Bingo Winner Plans to Go On Holiday

A fifty one year old Wokingham man recently won £20,000 while playing bingo, he says that he has been playing the game for many years and plays about three times a week. He is retired and has been a member of the Gala Bingo Club in East Hampstead Road for five years.

It was at Gala Bingo that he caught his super bingo win. He has to share the National bingo jackpot of £36,414 with a player in South Shield who also called bingo on forty-six number, but he still went home with £18,207 for the National, and the Regional prize of £2,500 in his back pocket. The lucky gent is really delighted to have won so much as he has never won a big bingo prize before. He said that when the bingo club announced how much he had won, there was a wonderful atmosphere and everyone was congratulating and cheering for him. When he was asked what he wanted to do with the money, he told us that the first thing he was going to do was book a nice holiday. I don't blame him, if it was me, I would do exactly the same thing.
