Woman Shares £76 000 Bingo Prize

The lucky winner of more than £76 000 in prize money from the National Bingo Game is planning to share her winnings with a friend that she plays bingo with, they have an agreement to split their bingo winning 50/50 if either of them win.

The grandmother who lives in Riddrie ahs been playing bingo for thirty years and she was playing at the Savoy Club in Main Street, Cambuslang when she caught £73 060 on the National, £3 061 on the Regional game and a house prize of £24. She called bingo in forty-two numbers, beating players in 470 bingo clubs throughout the British Isles to the prize.

She is planning to treat her four Children and one Grandchild and use her share of the winning money to pay for some improvements to her home.

Her family is over the moon for her and the friend that she is sharing the prize money with was jumping up and down when the club announced how much money she had won. She said that she just couldn't believe it! She has been a member at the Savoy club for three years where she plays once a week.
