Mecca Bingo Glasgow has Two Big Winners

The Mecca bingo in Glasgow is in the throes of a big celebration after having had two big winners of the National Bingo Game in just two weeks. More specifically the Mecca Bingo Club in Glasgow Quay!

Both of the lucky winners hail from the Govan area and between them they coined £56,195. The most recent win being for a sixty one year old retiree who was playing the Afternoon Delight game, she was playing her weekly game of bingo with her mother at the time, and won more than £28,000 when she called full house in forty one numbers.

As is usual she was in complete shock and couldn't believe her luck! The woman is married and has been playing bingo for forty years, she has been a member at Mecca Bingo ever since it opened. She says that she will only truly believe she has won once she has the cheque in the bank, and intends to split the winnings 50 - 50 with her mum as well as treat her family and friends.

The bingo club had its first big winner earlier in June, also a woman player and she called full house in forty numbers winning for herself a £27,545 jackpot.
