Gala Bingo High Five Win

Mrs. Pamela Markham is the latest winner of the Gala Bingo High Five. She took away £194 188, and the rest of the players in the bingo club shared £185,188. There were seventy four players in the club at the time, so this means that they all went home with just over £2 500 each. I'll bet that put a smile on everyone's face.

Lucky fifty eight year old Pamela from Scunthorpe helps her husband run a fish and chip shop in Messingham, and she was back at work with her husband George a mere hour after her big win.

She said it was all a bit of a blur and she couldn't let her customers down! Pamela will be sharing her winnings with her sister-in-law, she said they always share their bingo winnings, no matter how big or small, and this time it would be no different.

Mrs. Markham pipped players in 157 Gala Bingo Clubs to the post with the win when she called full house first and ended the game on a number five. Gala bingo recently broke away from the National bingo game, and I must say that I was concerned regarding how their members would react.

But it seems like the High Five is managing to hold its own, I have seen a couple of recent wins on it and apparently this is the biggest bingo win that Scunthorpe has ever seen.
